Web design that has a job to do
A site can look excellent and sell nothing. We design around what each page is supposed to achieve, then build it fast and structured for search, because the three decisions are the same decision.
-
Designed around the goal Every page has one job, and the layout is built around it.
-
Speed decided at design time Heavy layouts are a design choice, and they are expensive to undo later.
-
Search built in Structure, headings and schema planned while designing, not retrofitted afterwards.

When a beautiful site sells nothing
These are design decisions, which is why they cannot be fixed by a marketer afterwards.
What the work covers
Design through to a built, fast, structured site.
Page design
Layouts for each page type, designed around the goal of that page.
Content structure
What each page says and in what order, planned before the design is approved.
Performance by design
Image, font and layout decisions made with Core Web Vitals in mind from the start.
SEO structure
URL hierarchy, headings, internal links and schema planned during design.
Build
Developed on WordPress with clean templates your team can edit without breaking anything.
Conversion paths
Forms, calls to action and the route from landing to enquiry, designed deliberately.
Not sure whether the design is the problem?
Send the URL. We will tell you where visitors are likely losing the thread, and whether it is design or content.
How a design project runs
Content before layout, which is the opposite of how most projects go and the reason most get rebuilt.

Content first
Real copy and real structure, so the design is built around something true.

Developed, tested, made fast, tracked, and handed over with training.

What gets designed, and why
Page types, not page count, since the templates do the work.

Bint E Hafsa
Hafsa designs and builds, which removes the usual handover problem where a design is approved and then turns out to be slow or impossible to edit. Speed and search structure are decided while the layout is still on screen.
Design decides speed and structure
Which is why the three are quoted together here.
Design with a job vs design as decoration
What web design costs
Priced by how many page types need designing and what has to be built behind them.
What you can count on
Fixed scope and price in writing before design starts, and everything, including source files and the built site, stays in your name.

Design decisions are business decisions
Where the call to action sits, how much a visitor has to read before they understand what you do, whether the proof appears before or after the price: these are design choices and they decide whether the page earns anything. A layout that looks good and answers none of them is decoration on a page that cost you the visit.
Content before layout
Designing with placeholder text produces layouts that real copy does not fit, which is why so many sites launch with content squeezed into shapes that were never meant for it. Writing first is slower to start and much faster to finish.
Speed is designed, not fixed
A full width background video, a slider of six high resolution photos and three custom fonts are design decisions, and each one is paid for on mobile. Deciding these while the layout is still on screen is free; undoing them after launch is a speed optimisation project.
Search structure belongs in the design phase
- The URL hierarchy, because it is expensive to change later
- Heading order, which is a design decision as much as a content one
- Internal links between page types, planned rather than added ad hoc
- Where schema will apply, so the templates are built to output it
Retrofitting these after a site is built is how redesigns end up costing rankings. Planned during design, they cost nothing extra: that is why design, build and SEO sit with the same team here.
Whichever fits. Builders are fine for simple sites where your team needs to move things around. For anything performance sensitive, a clean custom template wins. We recommend rather than default.
Yes, and it usually makes the project quicker. If the brand needs work, we will say so, but a redesign is not an excuse to rebrand you unnecessarily.
Enough to get it right. Revisions are cheap at wireframe stage and expensive after build, which is why we agree structure and content before anyone designs a pixel.
It should be, and that is a design decision as much as a development one. Layout, images and fonts are where most of the weight comes from. See speed optimisation.
Not if the migration is done properly: redirects mapped from every old URL, structure preserved or improved, and content carried over. That planning is part of the project, not an extra.
Yes. Clean editable templates and a walkthrough at handover, so ordinary changes do not need a developer.
