WooCommerce SEO from people who also build the store
Most WooCommerce SEO problems are development problems: tag archives, attribute URLs, slow templates, missing schema. We fix them in the store rather than writing them up for someone else to do.
-
Fixed, not reported Indexing rules, templates and schema changed directly, the same week.
-
Built for WooCommerce quirks Attribute and tag URLs, variable products, out of stock handling.

Speed included Core Web Vitals on a store is a development job, and we do that too.

WooCommerce problems that stop stores ranking
These are specific to WooCommerce, and they are on almost every store we audit.
What WooCommerce SEO covers
The technical work first, because content on a broken index does not pay back.
Index control
Tag, attribute, filter and pagination URLs handled with canonical, robots and parameter rules.
Product and category schema
Product, Offer, AggregateRating and BreadcrumbList markup validated, not just installed.
Store speed
Plugin audit, template cleanup, image and caching work to get Core Web Vitals passing on mobile.
Category structure and keyword mapping
A URL tree that matches how people search, with one primary term per page.
Category and product copy
Unique content where it matters, templated where it does not.
Revenue reporting
GA4 and Search Console set up to report revenue by landing page, not sessions.
Not sure what Woo is doing to your index?
Send the store URL. We will tell you how many junk URLs are indexed and which rules to change.

German WooCommerce Machinery Store With Automated Supplier Catalogues
A large product catalogue that stays current, maintained by tooling rather than manual data entry. The store runs in German for a German market and meets local legal and commercial expectations.
- A full German language WooCommerce store with custom header and footer, shop page and category management plugins, and the legal pages German ecommerce requires.
- Then six separate Chrome extensions, one per supplier, that pull structured product data straight from the supplier catalogues into an import ready format, plus a category merger tool to clean up the overlapping category structures the suppliers produce.

Hafsa builds WooCommerce stores and ranks them, which is why the technical half of this work actually gets done. Indexing rules, template speed, product schema and supplier data tooling are all in the same pair of hands.
WooCommerce work from our portfolio
Real projects, not averages.
Why this beats a generic SEO retainer
What WooCommerce SEO costs
Priced against the state of the store, since cleanup and growth are different amounts of work.
What you can count on
Fixed scope and price in writing before we start. If the store needs development work before SEO can pay back, we will say so rather than billing a retainer against a broken foundation.

The WooCommerce indexing problem
WooCommerce is generous with URLs. Every tag, every attribute, every combination of filters and every page of pagination is a crawlable address unless you decide otherwise. A store with 500 products can easily present 50,000 URLs to Google, and the crawler will happily spend its budget on them while your category pages get visited once a month.
Fixing this is not glamorous and it does not produce a chart to show anyone in week one. It is also the change that makes everything afterwards work, which is why it comes first on every store we take on.
Product schema that earns rich results
WooCommerce emits basic product markup, and most stores assume that is enough. The gaps are usually price, availability, brand and reviews, and those are precisely the fields that produce a rich result in the search listing. We validate what is actually being output rather than trusting that a plugin setting is doing its job.
Speed is a development job
Category and product templates are where buyers land, and they are usually the heaviest pages on a WooCommerce site. Page builder markup, a dozen overlapping plugins and unoptimised images are the normal causes. Because we handle speed optimisation as development work, the fix is a code change rather than a recommendation in a report.
Where this sits in the bigger picture
This page is the WooCommerce specific half of our ecommerce SEO work. The strategy, category mapping and content planning are the same on any platform. What changes here is the technical execution, and on WooCommerce that execution is where most of the wins are. If you also need the store built or rebuilt, that is WooCommerce development.
Usually yes for tags and attributes, and yes for filtered and sorted URLs. They rarely earn traffic and they consume crawl budget. Some attribute archives are worth keeping when they match real search demand, which is a decision per store rather than a blanket rule.
Either RankMath or Yoast is fine. The plugin is not what makes a store rank, and neither one fixes faceted navigation, template speed or category strategy for you.
Not usually. WooCommerce outputs basic product markup, and the gaps are normally price, availability and reviews. We validate what is actually being emitted rather than trusting a plugin checkbox.
It is a revenue problem first and an SEO problem second. Category and product pages are where buyers land, and a slow template loses sales before rankings.
Yes. We can scope the technical fixes for them, or make the changes ourselves on a staging copy, whichever is faster for you.
It gives you more control over URLs, templates and indexing, which helps at scale. That control is only an advantage if someone uses it, which is the whole point of this page.
