Technical SEO that actually gets fixed
Most technical audits end as a PDF in someone’s inbox. We do the audit and then make the changes, because the same person who finds the problem also builds on WordPress and WooCommerce.
-
Audit and implementation One team finds it and fixes it, so nothing waits in a developer backlog.
-
Crawl budget where it earns Thin archives, filters and parameters controlled so Google reaches the pages that matter.
-
Speed included Core Web Vitals is a development job, and development is what we do.

What technical problems actually cost you
None of these show up as a headline. All of them cap what the rest of your SEO can achieve.
What technical SEO covers
The list is long, so we work in impact order and tell you what we skipped and why.
Crawling and indexing
Robots rules, sitemaps, canonicals, parameters, pagination and thin archive control.
Core Web Vitals and speed
LCP, INP and CLS on real devices, fixed in the theme and the plugin stack.
Site architecture
Silos, hub pages, URL structure and internal linking that concentrates authority where you need it.
Cannibalisation and duplication
One primary keyword per URL, duplicates merged or redirected rather than left competing.
Structured data
Organization, Service, Product, Article, FAQ and Breadcrumb markup, validated after it is deployed.
Migrations and recovery
Redirect maps before a rebuild, and diagnosis when traffic has already dropped.
Not sure what is technically wrong?
Send the URL. We crawl it and send back the issues, their impact and the order we would fix them in.
How the work gets done
Find it, prioritise it, fix it, verify it. The last step is the one most audits skip.

A technical result, start to finish
Silo architecture and crawl control on a veterans claims site, and what it produced in 90 days.
Veterans Claims Website: 14x Daily Organic Clicks in 90 Days
9.73K clicks and 914K impressions in Google Search Console across 90 days, at an average position of 9.4. On 2 September the site recorded 283 clicks and 20,936 impressions in a single day, against roughly 20 clicks a day at the start. That is close to a 14x increase in daily organic traffic, and the curve was still climbing at the end of the window.
- Architecture before content.
- Complete coverage, one silo at a time.
- E-E-A-T built into the templates.

Bint E Hafsa
Hafsa does technical SEO and WordPress development in the same week, which is the whole point. Crawl rules, template changes, schema and speed work are code changes, and handing them to someone else is where most technical audits go to die.
Structure beats volume. Every time.

Audit and fix vs audit and hand over
What technical SEO costs
Usually a fixed price project up front, then ongoing work if the site keeps changing.
What you can count on
Fixed scope and price in writing before we start, and a re-test afterwards so you can see what actually changed rather than taking our word for it.

What technical SEO is responsible for
Content and links get the attention, but neither works if the machinery underneath is broken. Technical SEO covers whether your pages can be crawled, whether they get indexed, how fast they render, whether their structure passes authority in the right direction, and whether search engines can interpret what they are looking at.
It is unglamorous work. It is also where the largest single gains usually sit on a site that has been running for a few years.
Crawl budget, and why it is not just a big site problem
Crawl budget is usually dismissed as an enterprise concern. In practice any site with filters, tags, search pages or paginated archives can present tens of thousands of low value URLs. Google works through them, your money pages get visited rarely, and new content takes weeks to appear. Controlling what is crawlable is often the fastest improvement available.
Cannibalisation: your own pages competing
When three pages target the same phrase, Google has to choose, and it frequently chooses the weakest one. The fix is one primary keyword per URL, enforced deliberately: merge what overlaps, redirect what is redundant, and re-angle what is worth keeping. This is the single rule behind the silo structure we build every site around.
Core Web Vitals is a development job
LCP, INP and CLS are decided by the theme, the plugin stack, the images and the hosting. No SEO plugin fixes them. Because we build on WordPress, this is a code change rather than a recommendation, which is the difference between a passing score and a ticket that sits in a queue. For stores specifically, see WooCommerce SEO.
Structured data that is worth deploying
- Organization and LocalBusiness, so the entity is understood
- Service and Product, where they match real offerings
- Article and Person, which carry author signals for E-E-A-T
- FAQPage, still useful for AI answers even where rich results have narrowed
- BreadcrumbList, which affects how the URL displays in results
Deploying it is half the job. Validating what is actually emitted after deployment is the half that gets skipped.
Everything that decides whether your content can be crawled, indexed, rendered and trusted: crawl rules, indexing, site speed, structured data, internal architecture and the handling of duplicates.
Common signs are pages missing from the index, traffic that fell after a redesign, several of your own pages competing for one phrase, and mobile pages that fail Core Web Vitals.
We fix them. On WordPress and WooCommerce that is straightforward for us. On other platforms we make the changes where we have access and write a precise spec where we do not.
Usually a week from access to a written report, depending on the size of the site. Implementation follows over the next two to four weeks.
In most cases, yes, though on a heavy page builder site there is a limit to what cleanup achieves, and we will tell you when a rebuild is the honest answer. See <a href="/wordpress-development/speed-optimization/">speed optimisation</a>.
Before the URLs are decided. Redirect maps and structure agreed in advance cost far less than recovering lost rankings afterwards.
