German WooCommerce Machinery Store With Automated Supplier Catalogues

The challenge

• The client sells thousands of outdoor power equipment and machinery products from several major suppliers. Every supplier publishes product data in a different format, and none of it was in a state WooCommerce could use.
• Building the store was the easy half. Keeping the catalogue accurate by hand was never going to work at this scale.

What we did

• A full German language WooCommerce store with custom header and footer, shop page and category management plugins, and the legal pages German ecommerce requires.
• Then six separate Chrome extensions, one per supplier, that pull structured product data straight from the supplier catalogues into an import ready format, plus a category merger tool to clean up the overlapping category structures the suppliers produce.

The outcome

A large product catalogue that stays current, maintained by tooling rather than manual data entry. The store runs in German for a German market and meets local legal and commercial expectations.
